This Is Just a Season!

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

I will never forget the day God spoke this to me. He said to me, daughter this is just a season and just as the seasons change so will things change in your life. This is not the end result! And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 NIV.

I will not leave you in this state of being or in the place that you are in. The thoughts in my mind would have me to believe that there will never be a change in my life, circumstances or situations and that things would remain as I knew them today, but God gave me a reminder. Just as the leaves on the trees are changing. This is evidence that we are embarking on a new season.

We have earlier breaking- of days, shorter nights because it gets darker sooner; also, the temperature outside is cooler. This is the proof that we are in a new season. As we are transiting from one season to another there will be things that we must do in the transitional time (the in between times).

In the natural world we dress in layers so that on the cool mornings and nights we are dressed appropriately, which allows us to shed the layers as the day warms up. Also, spiritually in the transitioning of seasons we have to seek the Lord's guidance on what to do for the season that we are in. Remember To Everything There is a Season. Whatever that looks like for you. You do that thing. It maybe something as practical as reading a particular book in the bible that he has given you to stand on to encourage you along the way. As well let's be mindful not to get stuck in the practices of one season. Just because it worked in one season doesn't mean it will work in another season. Allow God to do a new thing as according to Isaiah 43:19. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: The Lord says to us today in this passage of scripture that everything has a season, and everything has a purpose, that lets us know that things are subject to change at any given moment. In knowing this there is a confidence in God that we should hold on to that he will see you and I through everything that we may be facing right now or in the future. We stand in faith and in the counsel of might knowing that our God will deliver us. That he’s faithful and just. This is so profoundly amazing to know that God has all things in his control and his timing. Isaiah 60:22 Emphasized states when the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen. So, then Lord I trust your timing and purpose. This is just a season!
